Best of all, I'll be a friend! I'll be your hype girl before the wedding, your adventure guide making sure we find the location perfect for you and that we're prepared for it, and I'll be making sure you're having a good time throughout your big day. You'll also get to know me along the way, of course. I can't wait to get to know and your partner!
I'll be there to help you plan and scout out locations for your engagement or adventure session, wedding, elopement, etc.! You can also count on me to make it as fun and enjoyable for you two as possible. For the wedding day, family & wedding party photos will be a breeze and you know I'll be out on the dance floor during the reception making sure nothing is missed!
I'll capture all those fun moments, all your true emotions, and give you the photos that will remind you of how the day really was! This includes all the laughs, tears, dance moves, blooper moments, crazy weather, and anything else that comes up! Your wedding is special, so I believe it should be photographed that way so you can relive that day for years to come!
After college, I started my first full time job as an engineer at Boeing in Mesa, Arizona, where we got our cutie fur baby, Robbie pictured here. I found myself in this new city with more free time than I could handle coming right out of extremely stressful college life, so I started my photography business! Starting off with all sorts of portrait sessions, I ended up enjoying wedding and couples photography so much that I focused on this realm once we moved to Long Beach, CA in January, 2019. I am so thankful to have found this passion for photography, getting to know so many incredible couples, and giving these couples photos that will take them back to these huge moments in their lives forever. If you've made it this far, thank you so much for taking a trip down my memory lane! I'm so stoked to get to know you and your other half and can't wait for your big day!
Now let's fast forward a few years. I graduated college at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a BS in Aerospace Engineering in 2017 (I'll get to the photography in a sec!). I studied abroad in Pretoria, South Africa for the spring semester of junior year and wow was that a life changing experience. I got my first DSLR camera for Christmas before heading there for five months and that's really when I fell in love with photography. Being surrounded by zebras, impala, giraffes, elephants, and even being within reach of lions, a hyena, penguins, and wild dogs just added to my already massive appreciation for nature. I spent every weekend and every vacation exploring beautiful Southern Africa and taking photos of all the animals I encountered and all the new friends I had made.
adventures!), and taking a trip around Europe in high school as a grad gift from my family, I've been so fortunate to have visited 40 US states and 19 countries so far. And throughout all those travels (ok not the baby travels), I've had a camera on me. Disposable cameras were the bomb dot com even though the photos always looked nothing like what I imagined they would, so the day I got a digital camera that could go underwater was a dream come true.
I'm Veronica, a wedding and elopement photographer living in Long Beach, California. I'm ya girl if you're down to explore a beautiful spot with your other half; you're ok with whatever the day brings such as crazy wind, a bit of rain, or some dirt on your dress; you'd like some help planning out the logistics of your engagement session, adventure session, or elopement; or you need someone to fangirl over your dress, flowers, and anything else before the wedding!
So, who the heck am I and how did I end up being a wedding photographer?
I've had a travel bug for as long as I can remember. After countless family road trips, living in Europe as a baby (I wish I remembered these
